Title: What is the best shape? Geometric
\nproblems arising in aggregation models<\/p>\n

Abstract: How do pair interactions shape the large-scale
\nbehaviour of a cloud of particles (animals,
\nsocial agents …) ?\u00a0 In the most basic
\nmodels, the shape of the cloud is determined
\nby minimizing an attractive-repulsive interaction
\nenergy under suitable geometric constraints.<\/p>\n

When can we expect aggregation to occur? what
\nis the shape of the resulting flock?\u00a0 I will
\ndescribe recent work on optimal shapes in capacitor
\nproblems\u00a0 that occur as limiting cases.<\/p>\n
