Initiative 2019-2020 Report<\/a>)<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Facilitated tri-weekly meetings throughout the year with these two data science \u00a0 \u00a0 committees, each composed of key faculty and staff stakeholders.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finalized a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/drive\/folders\/1YZdULtRN0PTPxMfjmeskOli_ZCsVptJc\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">proposal <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that identifies rationale, courses and student learning outcomes for a 7C DS curriculum.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Discussed at length the necessary components of student learning outcomes and how to develop faculty capacities to teach disciplinary content, interdisciplinary data science analytical tools and instruments, integrated ethics, and navigate tech needs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finalized a curricular mapping <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1T3kiPyrAiDgutD3VZL3WaE6xqS-vlT9OzHREPYQrP9g\/edit#gid=0\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">matrix<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> which lists existing data science-related courses across all 7Cs that may be used to satisfy the 7C DS curriculum.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shared these documents with deans and faculty on each campus to elicit feedback and input on both.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Secured interest at all campuses to explore implementation of a DS curricular program at each campus, which has already resulted in three new DS minors and a major on the brink of implementation on three campuses.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align:
