Claremont Discourse Discussion: The Destruction of Memory

November 5 @ 11:15 am - 12:15 pm

Join us for a Claremont Discourse discussion on The Destruction of Memory in the Collaborative Commons of Honnold/Mudd Library. Students from Pomona College ID1 Archaeology: Fact and Fiction will lead the conversation, moderated by CGU History student Abigail Beck. The Fall 2019 Claremont Discourse series is dedicated to Pitzer College historian, Stuart McConnell, who passed away at the beginning of this year; Professor McConnell’s research interests intersect in an important way with the themes that this documentary illuminates, and we’re looking forward to honoring his memory with what will certainly be a stimulating conversation. Students, faculty, and staff of the Claremont Colleges can stream the documentary by Tim Slade and VastProdUSA here: https://bit.ly/34k1eM6
