Passover celebrates the liberation of the Jewish people. We retell the Exodus story to remind ourselves of the journey from slavery to freedom, and to see ourselves as though we left Mitzrayim (Egypt). We cultivate gratitude and praise to thank God for our redemption
Today we find ourselves in a kind of Egypt/Miztrayim (narrow place). We are facing the challenges of the coronavirus as society around us is changing and we are experiencing anxiety and social isolation. Our Seder will look different this year as we conduct it through Zoom, but the message of hope, redemption and freedom remain. Throughout the generations our ancestors looked toward the Exodus story to frame their own experiences and hopes of redemption. Please join as we do the same in our online Zoom Seder.
