Job: Visiting Lecturer in Asian American Studies, Spring 2020

VISITING LECTURER IN ASIAN AMERICAN STUDIES
SPRING SEMESTER 2020

The Intercollegiate Department of Asian American Studies of the Claremont Colleges invites applications for a visiting lecturer position for spring semester 2020 to teach up to two courses, “Contemporary Asian American Issues” and/or “Community Health.”

“Contemporary Asian American Issues” is a core class for our departmental major and minor.

“Community Health” is a community engagement course in partnership with Literacy for All of Monterey Park (LAMP). The instructor for “Community Health” will be expected to continue this partnership as part of the course curriculum.

PhDs or terminal degree preferred, ABDs will be considered, all preferably with at least one year of teaching experience.
