About Us<\/h2>\n

The Intercollegiate Feminist Center for Teaching, Research and Engagement<\/strong> offers programs and support for students, faculty and staff interested in feminism and gender issues, as well as those active in women\u2019s, gender and feminist studies at the Claremont Colleges. We sponsor and co-sponsor lectures, symposia, workshops, conferences, and community-building events. We offer:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Teaching resources<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u2022 A complete lending collection<\/a> with books and films, as well as senior theses and magazines, open daily for browsing or studying.<\/p>\n

\u2022 An\u00a0events calendar<\/a> of feminist\/gender\/women\u2019s studies at the Claremont Colleges.<\/p>\n

\u2022 A list of gender and women’s studies courses<\/a> offered each semester, with detailed descriptions.<\/p>\n

\u2022 A mailing list<\/a> with information about events\u00a0and other opportunities to get involved.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u2022 An up-to-date list of conferences and calls for proposals and papers.<\/a><\/p>\n

The IFC steering committee<\/a> includes one or more faculty representatives from each of the undergraduate colleges and several student representatives.<\/p>\n

The IFC offices and library are located<\/a> in Vita Nova Hall at Scripps College. \u00a0Our hours are 8:00 a.m. \u2013 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. \u00a0Please drop by to visit!<\/p>\n
