Alumni having lunch

Thank you for checking out our alumni page. Below you will find information about making connections to other LGBTQIA graduates from across The Claremont Colleges, as well as more about the programs available to alums through The QRC that reflects back on collegial experiences and builds communities through current lives and work. Every year during Alumni Weekend, we plan alumni-specific programming such as our Student and Alumni LGBTQIA Luncheons and Mixers, and encourage Alumni to attend  our annual Lavender Graduation ceremony to celebrate the accomplishments of graduating students

Please Take a Moment to Complete Our Alumni Survey

The QRC is committed to the preservation of queer her/his/their stories at The Claremont Colleges, and  we want to hear from you! We encourage all former students of The Claremont Colleges to complete this quick and easy online survey: you can update your contact information,  share your experiences as a 7C student, let us know what you’re currently up to, and let us know your interest in Alumni activities.

The QRC also holds a collection of alumni surveys, including those that date back to stories from the 1920s!  In 2012, QRC staff decided to expand this collection and include histories from current students, staff, faculty, and alumni. Thus, the Oral [Her/His/Their]story Project was conceived, and the project continues, conducting interviews from current students, faculty, staff, and alumni across the 7Cs! In the Fall of 2013, The QRC joined with the Pomona College Museum of Art for a special exhibition of our oral archives in commemoration of LGBTQ History month. In this installation, photographs, alumni surveys, quotations, and a visual display complimented exhibition of our audio files during an Art After Hours event at the Dunn Gallery. The exhibit was also displayed at the QRC during Spring 2014 semester.  Please consider sharing your story with us; make your history something future students can look back on, and in doing so, know more about their own place in history. If interested, please contact the QRC by emailing QRCclaremont@gmail.com.
