LEGS
Leadership and Engagement in Gender and Sexuality (LEGS) is a program through the Queer Resource Center and the Draper Center for Community Partnerships that connects 7C students with LGBTQIA+ high school students and their allies. The program seeks to be a source of empowerment for both high school students who join the program and the college students who support them.
Through workshops and conversation, the LEGS program creates networks of support for queer youth, develops strategies to work through obstacles they face, and builds confidence to engage in community struggles with oppression. The LEGS program also fosters leadership among the youth by encouraging and supporting them to establish and design their own program curriculum.
