QRC Living Room

Trans Day of Resilience is an annual program and typically, week that we offer for students, faculty, staff at the Claremont Colleges to participate in. The QRC at times calls this Trans Empowerment week which can include programs related to Trans Wellness, recognizing trans folx who have passed on, and workshops for people in the trans community.

Lavendar Graduation is a program that ends the month of Gaypril with a celebration of students who are graduating from the seven Claremont Colleges. This event can at times intersect with Alumni Weekend at the 5Cs.  This program includes a student speaker, recognition of graduates, certificates of participation and cords for graduates. The entire Claremont College community is welcome to join us in this celebration!

Gaypril is when the QRC takes over the entire Claremont College experience with workshops, educational partnerships with campus partners, painting Walker Wall as a community, and engage in social activities. There is a full calendar for Gaypril each year that comprises of faculty, staff, and student opportunities for involvement and education.

Open House is a welcome back program for incoming and continuing students at the Claremont Colleges to come visit the QRC. We offer food, tours of the QRC, and swag to take away with you and most importantly, an opportunity to meet other people at the Colleges as you get back into the swing of the Fall semester!

Drop-In Hours offers semester pop-in hours with QRC staff at each of the Colleges that we serve. Typically, these are noontime hours for students to come meet with QRC staff, learn about our resources, services, and opportunities for involvement or support. Come visit us when you see us at each of the campuses.
