\"QRC<\/p>\n

Leadership and Engagement in Gender and Sexuality (LEGS) Mentor Program<\/h2>\n

Leadership and Engagement in Gender and Sexuality (LEGS) is a mentor program through the Queer Resource Center and the Draper Center for Community Partnerships<\/a> that connects 7C students with local high school GSAs. The program seeks to be a source of empowerment for both high school students who join the program and the college students who support them. The LEGS program also fosters leadership among youth by encouraging and supporting them in bringing to life the visions they have for their GSAs. For more information or if you would like to participate in the LEGS program, please contact claremontlegs@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Queer and Questioning Mentor Program (QQMP)<\/h2>\n

The Queer and Questioning Mentor Program (QQMP) consists of students from the seven Claremont Colleges who identify with the LGBTQIA+ (e.g., lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer\/questioning, intersex, asexual\/agender) community. QQMP mentors are trained to provide support and informed guidance on any queer-related issue including coming out, support on identity exploration, and connecting with other LGBTQIA+ people at the Colleges.<\/p>\n

If you wish to apply to be a mentee<\/i><\/b>, submit a\u00a0QQMP Mentee Application<\/b><\/span><\/a><\/b>. Please note, the application you submit is confidential and will only be read by the QQMP Head Mentors and the mentor(s) you are matched with. Any 7C student of The Claremont Colleges can apply to be a mentee. If you have any questions, please contact bri.serrano@pomona.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

There are various student organizations across the 7 Claremont Colleges which include Family<\/a> (Scripps College), PRISM (Harvey Mudd College), QTs Alliance<\/a> (Pitzer College), Queer Graduate Union (Claremont Graduate University and Keck Graduate Institute), and Sexuality and Gender Alliance (Claremont Mckenna College)<\/a>.
