DESCRIPTION:Experience what it’s like to be in a Hollywood Writers Room with Wendy Molyneux\, a Pomona alum\, who is an EP and writer on on Bob’s Burgers and co-creator of The Great North! In this weekend-long writing intensive\, she’ll introduce participants to skills needed for a TV writers room\, including story-breaking\, joke pitching\, carding an episode\, and what to do when your pitch bombs! Special guest Q&A with Aditya Sood from Lord Miller. \nAbout Wendy Molyneux:\nWendy Molyneux began her career as a staff writer on Bob’s Burgers with her sister Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin\, where they continue to serve as writers and executive producers\, and for which they’ve received Emmy and Annie Awards. They created and currently showrun the animated series\, The Great North\, in its fourth season on Fox\, and streaming next-day on Hulu. On the feature side\, their adaptation of the novel\, The People We Hate At The Wedding premiered on Amazon and Film Nation with stars Allison Janney\, Kristen Bell\, Ben Platt\, Dustin Milligan\, and Cynthia Addai-Robinson.
