SUMMARY:Qigong: The Nine Phases of Qi Cultivation
DESCRIPTION:Qigong encompasses numerous ancient Chinese energy healing practices. Translated as “Life Force Cultivation\,” it involves gentle\, meditative movement and breathwork for overall wellness\, improved immune functioning\, and a sense of well-being and wholeness. Let’s move and meditate together! \n \nLee Conger — Certified Teacher of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi \nLee has been leading sessions since 2011 in Los Angeles at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center (where he worked as a psychotherapist\, 1998-2020); the Ortiz Taylor House (Historic-Cultural Monument #1144); Metabolic Studio’s Anabolic Monument and Under Spring; Micheltorena Community Garden (via the Silver Lake Time Bank); and a secret\, secluded hillside in Silver Lake (Shhh!). He moved to Claremont in October 2023 and is now teaching weekly at the Pomona College Organic Farm and Bethel UCC in Ontario. \nLee’s teachers have included Roger Jahnke\, OMD (founder of the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi)\, Margaret Flynn\, Susan Quon\, Marvin Smalheiser (founder in 1977 of Tai Chi Magazine)\, and his own students. \nRSVP Recommended — Click here to register! \n  \n  \n  \n
