DESCRIPTION:The topic of immigration has often been represented by the media through a single image. Yet\, every immigration story is different\, and each community has its own reality. \nWe will have (1) student storytelling/video clips that highlight immigrant experiences across cultures and (2) practical workshops to help design immigrant careers\, create supportive art and brainstorm future ideas for pro-immigrant events. \nThis event is an opportunity to hear from a range of immigration histories and engage in activities to concretely support immigrants. This evening is organized by Andikan Archibong PO ’17\, Post-Baccalaureate Fellow; The Hive; Nicole Weekes\, Ph.D.\, Associate Dean of the College; and the President’s Advisory Committee of Diversity (PACD). \nThe focus of this particular KYH event is on students.
