Harvey Mudd College senior and Hive student staffer, Kaitlyn Paulsen, was recently awarded the prestigious Thomas J. Watson Fellowship. Following her graduation in May 2022, she will embark on a year-long independent exploration outside the United States investigating \u201cCaring over Curing: Endurance through Challenging Health Experiences.\u201d Paulsen\u2019s passion for cultivating deeper empathy and understanding emotional endurance in the healthcare system are two of the driving factors throughout her exploration.
