Join professors Jessica McCoy and Colleen Rosenfeld for their pop-up class! Ovid’s Metamorphoses<\/em> begins with the poet’s intention: “To tell of bodies changed\/ To different forms.”<\/em><\/p>\n

How does one body, one constellation of matter, assume another shape? We will answer question this by analyzing and creating, describing and drawing.<\/p>\n

  3. \u201cAbout Face,\u201d by Patricia Agbabi, in response to Titian\u2019s Diana and Actaeon<\/i> (c.1556).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Here you can find a digital reproduction of Titian\u2019s painting.<\/a><\/p>\n

    Following our discussion, we will be doing a drawing exercise that requires a drawing tool and a piece of paper (a pencil and printer paper is perfectly fine, but if you have a sketch pad and another medium, you may have a somewhat better experience). If you could make sure you have access to these analog materials before our class begins, you would be very well prepared.<\/p>\n
