The Workday Governance Operations Committee is to facilitate the use and maintenance of and communication and prioritization of operational features of the Workday system.<\/p>\n
The WGOC is an appointed committee of the Workday Governance Committee (WGLC).<\/p>\n
The specific purpose of the committee is to:
\n1.Work toward ensuring that the needs of the end-users are met with an emphasis on usability.
\nThis includes a process to collect end-users input and feedback.
\n2. Leverage the capabilities of the Workday system to maximize the use of the tool.
\n3. Ensure that decisions and recommendations focus on what is best for The Claremont Colleges as
\na whole, while being mindful of the needs of the individual units.
\n4. Track, prioritize and document progress, challenges, decisions and recommendations through
\nthe use of a common project management tool which is transparent to the constituents.
\n5. Work using an open, transparent and outcomes-based methodology in conjunction with
\nestablished best practices to guide our way.
\n6. Optimize efficiencies within the Workday environment.
\n7. Provide guidance on change management to Finance core and Human Capital Management
\nCore groups.
\n8. Act as a champion of Workday.
