Getting started at the Production Center
Before you can access any of the resources (video equipment and edit rooms) at the Media Studies Production Center, you must be enrolled in a current production class and complete the following steps:
- Review the IMS Student Production Handbook which explains all the Policies and Procedures for all students enrolled in current production classes.
- Successfully pass the Policies and Procedures quiz.
Once you successfully pass the quiz you will be granted Production Center privileges. That includes access to Webcheckout (the software program for reserving and checking out gear), Production Center swipe access, an Adobe CC software license, and an IMS server folder for storing your class projects.
If you are enrolled in multiple production classes, you only have to take the quiz once. Students must complete this process every semester.
