UPDATE: Full Conference Program

The 7C Data Science Working Group and the Office of Consortial Academic Collaboration invite you to register for a one-day data science conference to be held Wednesday, August 28, in the Keck Classroom of the Honnold/Mudd Library.

We are very pleased to welcome Pomona College alumnus Jay Cordes as our keynote speaker. After earning his BA in Mathematics from Pomona, Mr. Cordes went on to earn a Master of Information and Data Science from UC Berkeley. He is co-author of the just-released book The 9 Pitfalls of Data Science.

Please see the flyer and schedule below for a full breakdown of offerings. The day will begin with a continental breakfast (8:30 a.m.), include lunch, and conclude with wine and treats. Please advise of any dietary considerations and we will be sure to accommodate you.

To register, please send an email to that effect to collaboration@claremont.edu and also advise whether you will attend the conference in full, or in part. You are also welcome to share this invitation broadly with your 7C faculty and staff colleagues.
