Men's Lacrosse Club pre-game huddle
The Claremont Men’s Lacrosse team plays in the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association, the club equivalent of the NCAA. We currently play in Division 2 of the Southwestern Lacrosse Conference against teams including Chapman University, USC, Loyola Marymount University, UC Santa Barbara, and UCLA.
In 1958, the Claremont Lacrosse Team became the first college lacrosse club in Southern California, making it the oldest continuous collegiate lacrosse program west of the Rockies.
The team welcomes all interested players–from beginners to state champions! Team support comes through player dues, alumni and parent donations, and student government allocations. Financial aid is available for students who need help covering their dues.
The team has four professional coaches and plans at least one road trip a year to play in northern California, Nevada, or Arizona. Please check out our website www.claremontlax.com.
