Womxn’s Ultimate Frisbee

“We sky*, we lay out**, we have fun the whole time!”

Ultimate is a competitive, self-officiated 7 v 7 sport that combines the best parts of ordinary sports (athletic leaps! running very fast! diving to save possession!) without the scary parts (aggressive physical contact, refs with whistles and cards, etc). On the Greenshirts, we try to embody in our play one of the pillars of Ultimate, “spirit of the game,” by supporting both our teammates and our opponents, and keeping discussions about fouls or calls calm, positive, and geared toward learning. One of our goals is to never sacrifice spirit for the sake of winning.

Join the 5C Greens family! Players of all experience levels welcome. We practice on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday from 5-7pm. Wednesday and Friday are at the Pomona Turf (above the parking lot next to Frank Dining Hall) and Sunday is at CMC’s Parents Field. We have an optional pick up (casual ultimate) game with the Braineaters (men’s ultimate team) on Saturday’s at 12pm on Parents.
