Badminton

The 5C Badminton Club provides a safe and welcoming environment for students of all experience levels in badminton to practice the sport. It is the only badminton club on campus that allows players from all 5Cs to play and train together. Meetings are announced on the 5C Badminton Club Facebook page and through email to the roster. Membership is open to all interested students of the Claremont Colleges. We also envision the club as a place for all interested students to destress and promote their mental well-being through playing badminton. We hope to make badminton accessible to students whose home communities do not previously have access to the sport. Badminton also possesses an element of cultural diversity, having been mostly popular in Asia. Finally, our club members have requested that we hold tournaments in the 5Cs with potential prizes.
