Mateen Stewart is a Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. Originally from Detroit, Michigan. Mateen has performed stand-up comedy at numerous clubs and colleges. He’s a regular at The World Famous Laugh Factory and The Hollywood Improv where he hosts his weekly show “Late for Work”. He has also appeared on television shows such as Coming to the Stage, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and HBO’s Funny or Die Presents. Mateen is known for his energetic and engaging performances, as well as his ability to connect with audiences through his personal stories and unique perspective. He has been praised for his sharp writing and delivery, as well as his ability to tackle difficult topics with humor and sensitivity. He’s co-host and executive producer of Voyage Media’s podcast “Scumbags of History” and he tours the country with his show “Comical Race Theory.”
