Working through your Independent Study

Are you currently taking an independent study?
You’re not? Pass this on to someone who is!
You are? Then could you use a space to talk through your process, work through the big questions you’re grappling with, and/or process what you have done already?

The Hive is in the process of creating a structure to support students in their independent study goals, and in this event we hope to provide the space for you to talk about where you are at in the process with fellow independent study students as well as allow us to get an understanding of how we can best support students in the future. The hope is that through this conversation, you will gain better clarity around your project, and we will be able to take your experience into account when we are creating our supportive structure.

We will have:
• A space for you to communicate what you are working on
• Questions that will facilitate you figuring your stuff out
• The opportunity to shape future Independent Study courses including your own
• Snacks and any leftover Halloween candy we can find!
