SAFETY

Everyone’s safety is a priority, therefore:

  • Keep doors locked and closed at all times
  • Do not prop doors open or leave doors open (except when specifically instructed)
  • When leaving, double check that doors are closed and secure and that all lights are turned off.
  • The QRC is a smoke free and alcohol free environment; therefore it does not allow the use of those substances on the premises. (Graduate student events held at the QRC must request an exception to serve alcohol.)
  • If a room is locked, do not ask the housekeeping staff to open.

CLEANLINESS

Clean up after yourself (your guests) and adhere to the following:

  • Place all food trash and wrappings in the trashcans located outside.
  • Do not keep or leave open food in the main room, kitchen, library, or any other area of the QRC.
  • Clean the kitchen after you use it.

RESERVATIONS

The QRC is available for recurring meetings and one-time usage.

  • To reserve The QRC contact pharalyn.robinson@pomona.edu
  • If someone has reserved the QRC for a meeting and requested that it be a closed space it will be listed on the QRC calendar. It will be your responsibility to check the calendar and be respectful of the times in which the QRC is designated as a closed space.

RESPECT

  • Be respectful to other QRC users and the Housekeeping staff.
  • You may not reserve a spot by leaving your belongings at the QRC while you go to class. This is inconsiderate.
  • Do not stay on the computer for an inconsiderate amount of time.
  • When you invite your friends to the QRC, you (as the user) are responsible for their actions.
  • If something is broken after-hours, please report it immediately to the QRC. You will be held liable for the damage.
  • Sexual activity of any kind is not acceptable.
