Name and Gender Marker Changes

Guide to the Claremont Colleges
Please review the Guide to The Claremont Colleges for LGBTQ students which outlines the policies of gender marker, name changes, and housing options for LGBTQ students who want to receive more information.
The Queer Resource Center has limited funds to co-sponsor events and/or programs during the academic year. Please complete this form to request funding. After review of your submission by the QRC staff we will inform you of any allocation of funds we can provide. Funding requests are reviewed regularly at our weekly staff meetings.
The Queer Resource Center has a clothing closet that can be accessed during regular operating hours and is a resource for any community member of the seven Claremont Colleges. Feel free to peruse the clothing closet and take what you would like.
We accept gently worn clothing items (shoes, shirts, pants, shorts, dresses, skirts) but do not accept undergarments such as underwear, bras, athletic wear worn without under garments or bathing suits.
The staff of the Queer Resource Center are connected to many departments, organizations, and people across the Colleges and can refer LGBTQ community members if needed. The QRC staff are also knowledgeable about local, regional, and national LGBTQ resources, including non-profits, health services, and community LGBTQ centers throughout Southern California. If you are looking for a referral or more information, please email email@example.com.
The Queer Resource Center has hundreds of LGBTQ literature and digital media available for students, faculty, and staff of the 7Cs to check out. We regularly order new books for the library and welcome feedback on new books to purchase. To suggest new titles, please email firstname.lastname@example.org from your college affiliated email.
