Confidential Support
The Assistant Dean & Director of the Queer Resource Center, Bri Sérráno, serves as an institutionally confidential support for all students at the seven Claremont Colleges. Bri can meet with students impacted by sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, or stalking to provide care and support, provide information about resources/options available, and help navigate on- and off-campus resources. Please contact Bri directly to schedule a meeting at bri.serrano@pomona.edu or call 909-607-1269 and leave a voicemail.
Accessing the Queer Resource Center After Hours
All students throughout the seven Claremont Colleges are able to access the Queer Resource Center seven days per week from 9:00am-11:00pm by completing the QRC Card Swipe Access Agreement here. You will receive a confirmation email once you have access to QRC via Card Swipe Access.
Reserve the Queer Resource Center
The Queer Resource Center can be reserved for events or programs coordinated by any of the Colleges. The QRC has a built-in projector, lounge space, library, and full kitchen that is available for use with reservations. Please fill out this form and review guidelines on the form if you are interested in hosting and event or program at the Queer Resource Center.
Name and Gender Marker Changes
The Queer Resource Center can provide support in navigating changing your name at your College at the Claremont Colleges and/or gender marker. Please note there may be limitations depending on legal gender marker or name changes. The Center also offers support on legal name or gender marker changes. For questions or scheduling a meeting regarding this, please email qrc@claremont.edu.

Co-Sponsorship
The Queer Resource Center has limited funds to co-sponsor events and/or programs during the academic year. Please complete this form to request funding. After review of your submission by the QRC staff we will inform you of any allocation of funds we can provide. Funding requests are reviewed regularly at our weekly staff meetings.
The Queer Resource Center offers funding for students to attend conferences throughout the academic year. If you are interested in inquiring about QRC funding for students to attend conference, please complete this form. We will review and reach out to you about the status of your conference funding request.
Clothing Closet
The Queer Resource Center has a clothing closet that can be accessed during regular operating hours and is a resource for any community member of the seven Claremont Colleges. Feel free to peruse the clothing closet and take what you would like.
We accept gently worn clothing items (shoes, shirts, pants, shorts, dresses, skirts) but do not accept undergarments such as underwear, bras, athletic wear worn without under garments or bathing suits.
Referrals
The staff of the Queer Resource Center are connected to many departments, organizations, and people across the Colleges and can refer LGBTQ community members if needed. The QRC staff are also knowledgeable about local, regional, and national LGBTQ resources, including non-profits, health services, and community LGBTQ centers throughout Southern California. Library
The Queer Resource Center has hundreds of LGBTQ literature and digital media available for students, faculty, and staff of the 7Cs to check out. We regularly order new books for the library and welcome feedback on new books to purchase. To suggest new titles, please email qrc-studentstaff@claremont.com from your college affiliated email.
