Allyship Training
The Queer Resource Center offers regular Allyship trainings for faculty, staff, and students at the Claremont Colleges. The QRC is updating our offerings of Allyship trainings to include both a Foundational Understandings and Advocacy in Practice sessions for faculty and staff which may be reflected in our upcoming offerings.
Foundational Understandings discusses various identities, terminology, how to create a more inclusive environment for LGBTQ people and Advocacy in Practices provide an opportunity for people to practice their engagement and support of LGBTQ people and reflect on their own privileges as well.

Requesting a Training
Allyship trainings are about 1 hour- 1.5 hours for faculty, staff, and students within the Claremont Colleges Community. Please ensure to fill out this form at least three to four weeks in advance of your desired training date/time. Please check engage.claremont.edu for any upcoming trainings available for Faculty, Staff, and Students at the Claremont Colleges. If you are interested in requesting a training for your department, organization or student club, please complete this form. Please note that some trainings may not be able to be scheduled or facilitated due to staffing capacity limits for the semester.
