In Pursuit: Leader Development Planning Workshop


Professor Becky Reichard, Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior and Leadership and Director of LeAD Labs at Claremont Graduate University, facilitates a workshop that walks participants through the best practices for making an effective and actionable leader development plan. Dr. Reichard helps attendees understand how to identify leadership strengths and weaknesses, establish powerful goals, design SMART action strategies, and reassess, refine, and realign their goals as they progress in their development. This workshop provides additional support and guidance for completing the Leader Development Online tool, in addition to emphasizing the importance of leader development planning. The workshop content deepens knowledge gleaned in part 3 of the In Pursuit self-study and helps participants prioritize their continuous development in their current role and beyond.

One-on-One Coaching Meeting


LeAD lab-certified coaches have extensive backgrounds in leader development and are trained to facilitate self-reflection and give effective feedback. They are equipped to help participants interpret their LeADself assessment feedback report and help them refine a plan to achieve their developmental goals. LeAD lab-certified coaches help leaders from diverse industries and ranging from first-time leaders to those at the executive level. Participants’ coaches will help them better understand their leadership, enhance their self-awareness, and identify strategies for committing to their development.

Effective Leadership Workshop and Simulation


Professor Becky Reichard, Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior and Leadership and Director of LeAD Labs at Claremont Graduate University, facilitates a workshop that covers evidence-based approaches to effective leadership. This session brings the In Pursuit Self-Study information to life and offers an interactive opportunity to learn about effective leadership behaviors. A small group simulation is followed by a live debriefing with a LeAD-certified coach. The coach facilitates a small group discussion regarding effective leadership behaviors.
