Intro to Design Thinking Workshop (at Harvey Mudd)

Tom Maiorana and Vida Mia Garcia from the Hive will offer two design thinking workshops this week.

In two hours you will get exposure to design thinking, a human-centered process for tackling challenging, messy problems. Whether you are interested in social justice, entrepreneurship, or just looking to flex your creative muscles, we think you’ll come out of the workshop with some useful tools.

We’ll spend the time reimagining time management for college students. This is a fast-paced, hands-on activity where participants pair up to interview each other, identify real needs, and then prototype a solution to “Reimagine the Snacking Experience for their Peers”. NO PREVIOUS DESIGN OR DESIGN THINKING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. We will provide all the information you need to be successful!
