IFC Student Activist Lunches

IFC organizes periodic lunch meetings for students from campus organizations working on feminist and social justice issues.  Lunches provide opportunities for networking and addressing specific topics.  IFC provides lunch.

Student Activist Networking Lunch with Sami Mericle

Location: Vita Nova Conference Room (Room 106), Scripps College

Join IFC for a networking lunch featuring Sami Mericle, Senior Organizer with One LA-IAF, part of the Industrial Areas Foundation, the nation’s oldest and largest community organizing network. Mericle works with religious institutions, nonprofits, and labor organizations throughout Los Angeles to address issues including immigration, health care, and street safety.

Students will have the opportunity to connect with others involved in activism and community engagement across the Claremont Colleges and learn ways to become involved in organizing efforts and social change initiatives.

Pizza will be provided.

Open to all students.
