The Draper Center for Community Partnerships
The mission of the Draper Center for Community Partnerships is to foster mutually beneficial exchanges among community members, students, faculty, and staff in order to support educational outreach initiatives, community-based research and learning, and other community engagement activities. The Center reinforces existing ties and forges new ones between the College and other community organizations ensuring dynamic, mutually educational and constructive partnerships. In doing so, the Center contributes to a wider trend to view all people as legitimate contributors to new knowledge that fosters social improvement.

Harvey Mudd College Office of Community Engagement
The Office of Community Engagement works with students, faculty and staff to develop community partnerships, support student-led community-outreach efforts and assist faculty whose courses have a community-based learning component.

Pitzer College Community Engagement Center (CEC)
CEC works in the community creating partnerships, supporting innovative community-based projects by offering research awards and fellowships. Community Based Education connects students and faculty with local organizations to create community-based research, service learning and experiential education opportunities that enhance the social, environmental, cultural and economic health of our communities.

Pomona College Women’s Union (WU)
The Pomona College Women’s Union provides a safe space for people of all genders to gather. The WU promotes discourse and provides support for all students and members of our community. The WU holds Thursday noon lunches and co-sponsors events.
Location: The Women’s Union is on the 2nd floor, southeast side of Walker on Pomona’s north campus.
Hours: The WU is open Sunday – Thursday from 4-11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 12-7 p.m.

The Queer Resource Center is a 7 College resource center serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, asexual, omnisexual, pansexual and allied community at the Claremont Colleges. Their space houses a great collection of over 1200 LGBTQ-related books and a wide selection of queer movies. The QRC offers educational, social, and social justice oriented programming that reflects the needs of diverse LGBTQIA communities.
Location: The QRC is located on Pomona’s campus south east of Frary Dining Hall, in Walton Commons. The address is 395 E. 6th Street.

Scripps Communities of Resources and Empowerment (SCORE)
The mission of SCORE is to provide organizational support and resources to empower student organizations so that they may further promote social and political awareness, specifically with respect to issues of class, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, sexuality, and sexual orientation. In addition to offices, a kitchen and lounge area, the SCORE Office contains a conference room for student use.
Location: The office is located on the north side of Scripps campus in the area formerly known as the Routt-Frankel exercise room.

Claremont Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP)
Mission statement: As Claremont SJP, a branch of the National SJP Movement, we work to educate members of our community specifically about the injustices perpetrated on the Palestinian people. We raise awareness about Palestinian culture and history, the Israeli Occupation, the US role in it, and the global movement in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

CMC Advocates
Mission statement: A student-run organization that acts as confidential resources for students and promotes a culture of consent and sex positivity at Claremont McKenna College. We assist survivors in navigating their unique healing processes, including guiding survivors through TIX cases or legal documentation should a survivor choose to report. Advocates undergo extensive training to prepare them to operate our 24/7 hotline and to provide confidential support through office hours, Instagram DMs, and our CMC Advocates email. We are also present at all major ASCMC sponsored parties “lifeguarding” to ensure the safety of students.
