Destruct//Construct: HEO + the Hive

Relax. Rejuvinate. Remember. Release.
Having a tough semester? Need to relax? Want to plan out your life? Just need a quick break?
The Hive and Health Education Outreach have teamed up to bring you the destressing event of the year! We will have different rooms with plenty of activities suited for all, so you’re bound to find something for you.
HEO Peer Health Educators will be there to offer you stress management techniques and stress coaching. The Hive will be there to help you make self-care crafts and let go of that mid-semester tension. There will also be meditation sessions and quiet spaces.
RELEASE ROOM: Come write angry letters to destroy, smash scales, pop bubble wrap, and tear some cardboard apart. Come make a mess.
REJUVINATE ROOM: Come make positivity jars and color coloring pages.
RELAX ROOM: Come meditate, sleep, or reflect.
REMEMBER ROOM: Come remember or learn what destresses you and how to stay stress-free. We will be here to help coach you and provide support.
Everyone is welcome! This is a safe, inclusive space accessible to anyone. Bring your friends and have a great time!
The Hive is accessible through the entrance facing 7th Street (north entrance), the entrance facing College Ave (west entrance), and the entrance adjacent to Millikan Laboratory and the Cowart ITS building (east entrance). For accommodations, please contact the Hive via Facebook message, email (hive@claremont.edu), or phone call (909-607-9248).
