36 Questions to Make Fast Friends
September 12, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!!
Have you heard of the 36 Questions that presumably can make you make friends with anyone?
These questions only take about 45 minutes to discuss—and they almost always make two people feel better about each other and want to see each other again, according to social psychologist Arthur Aron of Stony Brook University in New York. The results of his original study, “The Experimental Generation of Interpersonal Closeness,” were published in Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin.
This workshop will be led by close relationships researcher Professor Deb Mashek from HMC. (Fun fact: Deb was Prof. Aron’s graduate student at Stony Brook University from 1997 to 2002.)
