[POSTPONED] Shibori Tie-dyeing

Let’s dye this again! Explore the art and culture behind this historically rich Japanese tie-dye method. We’ll use different materials and techniques to unfold unexpected patterns, using red and magenta dyes for spring! We’ll start in the Toolbox from 3:30 — 5:00 pm, and then move into the Commons from 5:00 — 6:30 pm.

3:30 – 5:00 pm Tying and dyeing (bring your own or we’ll provide tank tops to the first 20 participants)

5:00 – 6:30 pm Collaborative and celebratory tie-dyed art piece (we’ll provide everything, even delicious snacks; just bring your art making self)
