Creative Policy Design for Social Change

Students are introduced to innovative approaches to policy design aimed at addressing social justice issues through a human-centered approach with Ph.D. Student, Tiffany Shao. Participants engage in group activities, discussions, and brief lectures to develop policies that are responsive to community needs, culturally sensitive, and grounded in evidence.

Tiffany Shao is a Ph.D. student in the Psychology program at Claremont Graduate University. Her research primarily focuses on topics at the intersection of law and psychology, specifically how racial attitudes, stereotypes, and prejudice influence decisions made in the criminal legal system. She is committed to exploring innovative approaches for crafting evidence-based policies that are responsive to community needs
