Financial Literacy Workshop with Money Matters Week

We’re excited to announce that Money Matters Week is coming up!
WHAT IS MONEY MATTERS WEEK?
The 2nd annual Money Matters Week is a week of socioeconomic class and first-generation college student consciousness at the Claremont Colleges organized by Pomona College QuestBridge Chapter.
WHAT KIND OF THINGS WILL HAPPEN?
Quest is organizing a documentary screening, a financial literacy workshop, an open mic night, a 5C party, and much more! Check out the Facebook event below for more information.
WHY IS THIS RELEVANT TO THE HIVE?
The Hive is happy to host the Financial Literacy Workshop segment with Uvaldo Calderón, Interim Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Pomona College. Catch us in Studio 2 from 7-8:30PM on Tuesday, 2/28!
Also just in general, we want to give a huge shoutout to Quest for sparking dialogue centered on classism and class consciousness. Thank you, Quest! We can all show, not tell, or support by attending these events Quest worked so hard to organize. See you there!
ACCESSIBILITY
The Hive is accessible through the entrance facing 7th Street (north entrance), the entrance facing College Ave (west entrance), and the entrance adjacent to Millikan Laboratory and the Cowart ITS building (east entrance). The west entrance can open automatically. For accommodations, please contact the Hive via Facebook message, email (hive@claremont.edu), or phone call (909-607-9248).
