Kareem Collie is an accomplished design professional and educator with extensive experience in academia and industry. He has led design for companies like Nickelodeon, Coca-Cola, and USA Network. Kareem has also held influential roles as Design Lead at IBM, Director of Design and Creativity, and Clinical Professor of design at The Claremont Colleges, and Teaching Fellow at Stanford University’s d.school. Currently, he is the Head of Design at NASA JPL’s CreativeStudio, leveraging his expertise to bridge complex scientific concepts with public communication. He co-edited the acclaimed book “The Black Experience in Design: Identity, Expression, and Reflection,” recognized by Fast Company, Print Magazine, and others. Kareem holds a Master’s degree from NYU and a Bachelor’s from Pratt Institute.
