What Dream Teams Are Made Of: A Collaboration in STEM Workshop

Workshops in the Collaboration in STEM series provide participants with tools and strategies they can use to strengthen their collaborations. Workshop topics, descriptions, dates, and times appear below. Claremont College students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend any or all workshops. To ensure a positive workshop experience for our participants and presenters, we will limit enrollments to 20 people per session. We will email you to confirm your slot in the workshop(s) you select. This series is offered by Prof. Mashek’s Psychology of Collaboration class at HMC and in partnership with The Hive.

What Dream Teams Are Made Of
Tuesday, November 15 @ 8-9 PM

How can you transform a group of independently-motivated strangers into a cohesive unit equipped to accomplish the seemingly impossible? This student-led workshop provides strategies for generating team identity and aligning the goals of team members in order to create cohesive and effective collaborations. From getting to know your teammates to constructing a common mission for your team, you will leave with tools to transform your STEM group into a dream team.
