February Hive Highlight: Intro to Metalsmithing

Earlier this month, Anya Zimmerman-Smith, a Claremont McKenna College freshman, led a metalsmithing workshop in the Toolbox. Anya helped participants create gifts for and inspired by people they love. Participants learned about the design process through metalsmithing and got a chance to indulge their creative sides by making copper pendants for necklaces and bracelets.
