Designing Your Life

December 4, 2015 @ 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, and/or angry when you think about your future? Cringe whenever someone asks you, “What are you going to be when you grow up?” or “What are you going to do with THAT degree?” Don’t know how to do what you love? Well, we can’t solve all your problems, but we can give you the tools to approach those difficult questions in a way that is fun and empowering.

In this workshop, we will apply some of the basic principles of design thinking, such as brainstorming and prototyping, to the “wicked problem” of figuring out what you’re going to do with your life. We hope to bust some myths about what this process is like, introduce tools and frameworks that will help you understand yourself better, develop a community of common ground and support, and send you out the door knowing what to do next. Please join us!

The workshop will include dinner in the middle. Group size is limited to 15 for this iteration of the workshop (there will be more opportunities in the spring, though!). To RSVP, please fill out our short form: http://goo.gl/forms/X5yWSBD9xU Priority will be given to seniors/juniors and those who sign up earlier.

Please send us any comments and questions. 🙂
