Hive Grants Resume

They’re back! Our Student Creativity and Faculty Course Grant programs are once again open for submissions. At the Hive, we aim to cultivate and foster creative growth within and between the 7C community whenever and however we can! 

Our Student Creativity Grant program supports various creative projects led by students throughout the semester. Students bring their talent, and the Hive provides resources as needed. 

The Faculty Course Grant program offers similar support to faculty who incorporate making activities and infuse creative collaboration into courses at The Claremont Colleges. The program supports classroom activities that enable creative growth among 7C students and fosters interdisciplinary collaboration among faculty. 

Support and resources include funding for supplies, access to Hive materials and equipment, use of Hive spaces, or mentoring. Once creative projects are completed, grantees are encouraged to share what they’ve created through written, visual, or physical artifacts, as well as conduct a workshop with the Hive to demonstrate to others their project’s process, highlights, and challenges.
