Designing Your Team

Designing Your Team (DYT)a program modeled after the book, Designing Your Life by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans, of the Stanford d.school, was developed using human-centered design techniquesThese workshops uniquely tackle topics such as identity, team values, leadershipaccountability, reflection, communication, resilience, and ambiguityPrompted activities, conversations, and discussions fall into parts of the design thinking process to help create a novel, interactive, and engaging curriculum for teams of all sorts.

In 2018, DYT founding directors Fred Leichter and Shannon Randolph, created this series of workshops at the Rick and Susan Sontag Center for Collaborative Creativity (The Hive). The first session was run for the Pomona-Pitzer soccer team — Since then, DYT has expanded to more teams than just those of athletics across The Claremont Colleges.

We welcome the idea of working with your team!
