Unseen Film Screening

With experimental cinematography and sound, Unseen reimagines a cinema accessible for blind/low vision audiences. Through Pedro’s personal journey, the film explores the intersections of immigration, disability, and mental health. Screening followed by a Q&A with Unseen director and producer Set Hernandez.
Presented in collaboration with IDEAS at the CCs, IDEAS Mentoring program, Accessibility Resources & Services (ARS), Chicano Latino Student Affairs (CLSA), and the Asian American Resource Center.
The film has bilingual Spanish/English dialogue, there will also be English open captions and English audio description.

Con sonido y cinematografía experimental, “lo que no se ve” reimagina el cine para audiencias ciegas y de baja visión. Por medio de la historia de Pedro, la cita explora la intersección de inmigración, discapacidad, y salud mental. La proyección será seguida por una conversación con le directore Set Hernandez y protagonista Pedro.
